My name is Courtney Hoskin, and I am very excited to join the Mount Saint Mary’s staff as the new fifth-grade teacher. I was born and raised in Grass Valley, and I attended Bell Hill, Scotten, Lyman Gilmore, and Nevada Union High School. I was very involved in theater, volleyball, softball, and FFA. I loved raising animals for the fair and competing in sporting events. After I graduated High School, I moved to Idaho, where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After I graduated, I moved to Utah, where I taught third grade for two years. I started my master’s program last year, and I will be graduating in December with a master’s in psychology. My hobbies include riding horses, hiking, reading, and playing board games with my family. After a long time away, I decided it was time to come back home. I feel very blessed to work with the wonderful students and staff at Mt. St. Mary’s Academy.
